Note that nearly all of the even-numbered Section Exercises have complete solutions in the back of your text (Solutions to the Try Exercises). Also, all of the odd-numbered problems have answers (only) in the back of the text. You should, however, attempt the problem without referring to the solutions if possible. Also, if you feel you need additional practice, you should do additional odd-numbered problems. Note that you need to show proper work in order to get credit. If I see that you only copied answers for odd-numbered problems without proper work, no credit will be given. Do the work - the biggest reason for students not succeeding is the failure to do the assigned problems with a full understanding! Feel free to ask questions about these exercises in Discussions in the weekly Ask or Answer a Question topic.
NOTE: Due Dates on Text Homework are suggested dates so you can keep on track. You will submit this text homework on the day of the Midterm Exam and again at the day of the Final Exam. So the actual due dates for text homework are the days of the Midterm and Final Exams. This apples only to text homework. |
